The above-entitled matter came on for hearing before the Honorable Julie Voigt, Child
Support Magistrate, on May 18, 2021.
Due to court and building restrictions because of the COVID19 virus, parties could not
personally appear.
Maria Alvillar Hinojosa, Assistant Hennepin County Attorney, appeared on behalf of the
County. Melissa Lindblom, Child Support Officer, appeared as a witness for the County.
THE COURT FINDS:
1. Genetic testing has been requested in this matter for Respondent Chrisdie LaShae Milan
and the minor child.
2. That Respondent Monta J’vone Jackson was not served.
IT IS ORDERED:
1. The Respondent Chrisdie LaShae Milan and the minor child herein shall submit to genetic
testing at a time and place to be arranged by the Paternity Counselor of Hennepin County
Collections Services Division. The costs of the tests shall be advanced by Hennepin
County, subject to reimbursement upon establishment of paternity.

2. All matters are continued for service on Respondent Monta J’vone Jackson.
3. All motions are continued to August 10, 2021, at 9:30 am, at which time Respondent
Monta J'vone Jackson shall appear before the Court at the Family Justice Center, 110 South
Fourth Street, Minneapolis, MN bringing proof of his then income and employment status,
and also verification of income from all sources.
4. If a party fails to provide a genetic testing sample as ordered herein, the party shall be
deemed to have consented to Hennepin County’s reuse in this case of any genetic sample
or genetic data the party previously provided to the Public Authority for purposes of a
parentage action. If a party having custody of a child that is a subject of this action fails to
make that child available for genetic testing as ordered herein, the party shall be deemed
to have consented to Hennepin County’s reuse in this case of any genetic sample or genetic
data the child previously provided to the Public Authority for purposes of a parentage
action.
5. Respondent Monta J'vone Jackson is informed that failure to appear and submit to
the genetic tests or failure to reappear before this Court may be the basis for a default
adjudication of paternity, the setting of current child support, the setting of
reimbursement for past child support and birth expenses, reimbursement for the
costs of blood tests, and a bench warrant for his arrest.
6. Respondent Monta J'vone Jackson shall notify Hennepin County Collections Services
Division, 110 South Fourth Street, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55401, 612-348-3600, within
ten days of any change of address or of employment status.
