Having conferred and designated this case as. general pursuant to Administrative
Order No.2021-
09,
It is ORDERED:
1 The maximum periods for the deadlines in non-jury trials are as follows:
(a) Plaintiff shall have 120 days from the date of filing the Complaint to
serve the
Defendants. Extensions for service of the comp! laint shall be allowed upon a
showing of good cause.
(b) The parties shall file the Case Manag ement Order (CMO) within
30 days of
service of the complaint on the first Defendant.
© The parties shall give notice of any potential additional parties within 60 days
of the date ofthis Order.
@ All objections and motions directed to pleadings shall be resolved within
80
days of the date of this Order,
(e) Additional parties shall be added within 120 days of the date of this Order
unless good cause is demonstrated.
® Fact discovery, including depositions of fact witnesses shall be completed within
8 months of the date of this Order.
(g) Expert discovery, including expert depositions shall be completed
within 8
months of the date of this Order. -
(h) All pretrial motions shall be resolved before the pretrial conference.

‘The presiding judge will schedule a certain trial date when a case is at issue upon motion
and notice of a party pursuant to Florida Rule of Civil Procedure 1.440 and .enter an Order
Setting Case for Trial and Pretrial Conference. Any such pretrial order shall supersede the
CMO.
Failure to comply with the provisions of this Order may result in dismissal of the case or
other sanctions.
The Plaintiff shall promptly notify the presiding judge if the case is settled.
Plaintiff shall serve a copy of this Order along with the summons upon all other parties.

THIS MATTER came to be considered by the Court upon review of the file and the Court
determining that a case management conference should be scheduled, pursuant to Rule 1.200 Florida
Rules of Civil Procedure.
A FORECLOSURE ACTION HAS BEEN FILED AGAINST YOU. YOU HAVE RIGHTS
DURING THIS LAWSUIT.
IF YOU DO NOT RESPOND TO THE COMPLAINT FILED AGAINST YOU, A FINAL
JUDGMENT WILL BE ENTERED AND YOUR HOME OR PROPERTY WILL BE SOLD AT A

ALL PARTIES AND ATTORNEYS OF RECORD shall appear before the Honorable Eric C.
Roberson, Circuit Judge, located at the Nassau County Historic Courthouse, 416 Centre Street,
Fernandina Beach, FL 32034, for a Case Management Conference at 9:30 AM, on November 28,
2022 VIA ZOOM or in person'. ATTENDANCE IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO ALL
DEFENDANTS. Local counsel, with full authority to participate on behalf of the party designating them,
will be permitted to attend and be heard at the request and on behalf of that party.
1 The attached addendum attached hereto is hereby incorporated herein. The parties may
appear in person after providing the Court and parties notice of their intention pursuant to
the attached addendum.
At the hearing the Court may schedule the service of motions and pleadings; set or reset trials or
summary and or default judgment hearings; limit, schedule, order, and expedite discovery; facilitate the
elimination of legal or factual issues; and/or schedule other conferences or determine other matters that
may aid in the disposition of the action. FAILURE OF PLAINTIFF OR ITS REPRESENTATIVE TO
BE AT SAID HEARING SHALL RESULT IN DISMISSAL OF THE CASE WITHOUT PREJUDICE.

Pursuant to the local administrative order entered on June 15, 2021, effective June 21,
2021, the Nassau County Phase 2 Operational Plan has been rescinded. In person court
appearances are now permissible. Facemasks and distancing are optional. However, Zoom
will be the default for scheduled hearings, unless the parties file notice with the Clerk of Court
that at least one (1) party intends to appear in person at least three (3) business days before the
hearing. Said notice shall also be provided to the Court via email to at skaleel@coj.net, and to all
other parties by email, if possible.
Unless otherwise notified by Court Order or the Court’s Judicial Assistant, the invitation

Parties shall name their Zoom profile with their legal names such that they can be easily
identified.
For Zoom hearings involving exhibits, proposed orders, or copies of cases cited, the
parties are ordered to send these to the Court’s judicial assistant, skaleel@coj.net, via email at
least three (3) business days in advance of the hearing with copies to all parties who have not
been defaulted as is customary and required by the Rules. When the number of pages of the
hearing materials exceed 50 pages, hard copies should be provided to the Court at least three (3)
business days in advance of the hearing. Counsel submitting proposed orders must furnish
sufficient self-addressed stamped envelopes to the Court via mail for service of any orders when

Those appearing before the Court without video via Zoom that intend to testify will likely
need to be in the presence of a notary public for the purposes of being identified and sworn in.

While the Court is not required to record all Zoom hearings, the parties may request the
Court do so. It is the parties’ responsibility to arrange for a Court Reporter to attend the hearing,

This Addendum shall be attached and referenced in any notice of hearing or
proposed order scheduling hearing submitted by the parties. If any matter set for hearing
did not include this addendum in the hearing notice or order scheduling, the plaintiff shall
file and serve the parties with a new notice that includes this addendum.
