1 TO THE COURT, ALL PARTIES AND THEIR ATTORNEYS OF RECORD HEREIN:
2 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on June 22, 2022, Plaintiffs’ Petition for Order Permitting a
3 Late Claim came on regularly for hearing in Dept. 14 of the above-referenced court, the Honorable
4 Carrie M. Panetta, presiding. Sergio R. Cardenas appeared remotely on behalf of Plaintiffs. Rodney
5 Mayr appeared on behalf of Defendants Austin Alarcon and Rosaura Arcos Paniagua. No other
6 appearances were made.
7 The court noted that although the Petition was served on the Office of the City Attorney for the
8 City of Salinas and the City of Salinas’ attorney of record in this case, Law Office of William Price, on
9 April 1, 2022, Government Code Section 946.6(d) requires, in relevant part, service on “the clerk or
10 secretary or board of the local public entity, if the respondent is a local public entity…”.
11 The Court ordered Plaintiffs to serve the Petition on the clerk or secretary or board of the City
12 of Salinas pursuant to Government Code section 946.6(d).
13 PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Court reset the hearing on Plaintiffs’ Petition
