On reading and filing the Petition of Essex Community United Methodist
verified the 22nd of and the attached and

consents, from which it appears the Petitioner is a religious corporation organized and
existing under the Laws of the State of New York; and desires to sell and convey to
STEPHEN SAINT-ONGE and MARY SAINT-ONGE for the sum of TWO HUNDRED
SEVENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($275,000.00) by sale of the manse of the Essex
Community United Methodist Church located at 2306 Main Street, Essex, New York
(Tax Parcel and that the proposed sale and conveyance and the
Map #40.73-3-4.000)
annexed Petition have been authorized the affirmative vote of at least two-
duly by
thirds of the Church Council of the Petitioner corporation at a called and
meeting duly
held at New York on the 10th of 2022 and the affirmative vote of at
Essex, day May, by
least two-thirds of the Trustees of the Petitioner Corporation at a duly called
meeting
and held at New York on the 15th of and that the said sale and
Essex, day May, 2022;
conveyance and this Petition have been consented to by the Pastor in charge and the
District Superintendent of the Adirondack District of the Upper New York Annual
Conference of the United Methodist Church to which said District the Essex
Community United Methodist Church belongs; and said sale having been authorized
by a majority of those present and voting at the of the Charge Conference; and
meeting
it further appearing to this Court that the Petitioner has duly complied with the
provision of the law to the Petition and the matters set forth therein and that
relating

and its purposes will be promoted; and due deliberation been given,

Now, on motion of Michael D. McCormick, Esq. of the firm of Russell,
McCormick & Russell, Attorneys for Petitioner, it is
ORDERED, that the Petition be and the same is hereby in all respects granted,
and the Petitioner be and it hereby is authorized to convey and sell to STEPHEN
SAINT-ONGE and MARY SAINT-ONGE, the manse of the Essex Community United
Methodist Church located at 2306 Main Street, Essex, New York (Tax Map Parcel
#40.73-3-4.000) for the sum of TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($275,000.00) or their agents or assigns or to any other person or firm and to
execute and deliver deed said parcel of land as more fully described in
describing
Schedule A, annexed hereto and made a part hereof; and itfurther is
ORDERED, that the Church Council of Essex United Methodist
Community
Church and their successors be and they hereby are authorized to use and apply the
proceeds of the said sale to Petitioner's corporate objects and purposes.

"ALL THAT CERTAIN PIECE OR PARCEL OF LAND being the same premises now for
many years past occupied by the Pastor of said Church as a Manse in Essex Village and
conveyed by Deed made the first day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and sixty seven between Laura A. Noble of the Town of Essex in the County of Essex and State
of New York of the firstpart and Samuel Shumway, Beldon Noble, Charles G. Fancher, Noble
Clermone, William R. Edmonds, James Fortune, William R. Derby, Asher L. Conger and
Samuel D. Tuttle, Trustees of the First Presbyterian Church & Society of Essex, New York and
their successors in office of the second part and therein described as follows: lying north of and
adjoining the Kidder Lot so called in the Village of Essex and is bounded as follows:
BEGINNING at a stone set in the ground fifty six feet northerly from a cedar post set in the
ground on the north line of said Kidder Lot standing about three feet northwesterly from the
northwest corner of the Brick Store now occupied by R. A. Morse and formerly occupied by
David T. Packard and runs thence southerly parallel with the road fifty six feet to the above
described post set in the ground on the north line of the Kidder lotso-called; thence easterly
along the north line of the Kidder lot so-called, one hundred twenty-five feet; thence northerly
parallel with the south line, one hundred and twenty-five feet to the place of beginning; being
the same premises for many years past occupied by Robert Fortune, as a residence in said Essex
Village.

Fortune, his wife, to Laura A. Noble, dated April 29, 1867 and recorded in the Essex County
Clerk's Office on June 8, 1867 in Liber 60 of Deeds at Page 349.
BEING the same lands described in the deed made and given by Henry Harmon Noble and Cora
Sherman Noble, his wife, being heirs of Laura A. Noble to William Shoemaker, Charles E.
Palmer, Leo W. Baker, Frank A. Morse, Arthur Flack, Cleland H. Marshall, Harriet B. Stafford,
Kila J. Stafford, and Jean S. MacEachron, Trustees of the First Presbyterian Church and Society
of Essex, New York and their successors in office, dated August 12, 1920 and recorded in the
Essex County Clerk's Office on August 18, 1920 in Book 164 of Deeds at Page 556.
BEING the same lands described in the deed made and given by Julia N. Hynes, being heir of
Laura A. Noble, to William Shoemaker, Charles E. Palmer, Leo W. Baker, Frank A. Morse,
Arthur Flack, Cleland H. Marshall, Harriet B. Stafford, Ella J. Stafford and Jean S. MacEachron,
Trustees of the First Presbyterian Church and Society of Essex, New York and their successors
in office, dated December 16, 1920 and recorded in the Essex County Clerk's Office on
December 31, 1920 in Liber 166 of Deeds at Page 99.
BEING the same lands described in the deed made and given by James H. Ross and Blanche
Ross, his wife, being heirs of Laura A. Noble, to William Shoemaker, Charles E. Palmer, Leo W.
Baker, Frank A. Morse, Arthur Flack, Cleland H. Marshall, Harriet B. Stafford, Ella J. Stafford,
and Jean S. MacEachron, Trustees of the First Presbyterian Church and Society of the Town of
Essex, County of Essex, and State of New York, and their successors in office, dated January 28,
1921 and recorded in the Essex County Clerk's Office on February 11, 1921 in Liber 166 of
Deeds at Page 296.
BEING the same lands described in the deed made and given by Jennie N. Whiting, being heir
of Laura A. Noble to William Shoemaker, Charles E. Palmer, Leo W. Baker, Frank A. Morse,
Arthur Flack, Cleland H. Marshall, Harriet B. Stafford, Ella J. Stafford, and Jean S. MacEachron,
Trustees of the First Presbyterian Church and Society of the Town of Essex in the County of
Essex and State of New York, and their successors in office, recorded in the Essex County
Clerk's Office on November 7, 1921 in Liber 168 of Deeds at Page 591.
SAID lands are owned by Essex Community Church by virtue of a Consolidation Agreement
between Presbyterian Church of Essex, New York, Methodist Church of Essex, New York, and
Baptist Church of Essex, New York into Essex Community Church, dated July 22, 1966
approved by an Order Permitting Consolidation from First Presbyterian Church of Essex, New
York, Methodist Church of Essex, New York, and Baptist Church of Essex, New York to Essex
Community Church by the Hon. Harold R. Soden, Supreme Court Justice of Essex County, New
York, dated January 26, 1967 and recorded in the Essex County Clerk's Office on February 2,
1967 in Liber 32 of Common Orders at Page 523.
SAID Laura A. Noble died as a resident of Essex County, New York on July 28, 1895.
SUBJECT TO easements and rights of way of record and/or discoverable upon inspection of the
premises.
SAID Essex Community Church is now the Essex Community United Methodist Church by
virtue of an amended Certificate of Incorporation filed by the Essex Community Church to
change their name to the Essex Community United Methodist Church, dated February 27, 2011
and filed in the Essex County Clerk's Office on March 2, 2011 in Book 2 of Religious Society at
Page 227.
HEREBY INTENDING TO CONVEY property designated on the Essex County Treasurer's
tax rolls as Tax Map No. 40.73-3-4.000 as of 2020.
