ORDER SUSTAINING MOTION TO QUASH
This matter comes on before the Court on this 17? day of
March, 2022 pursuant to the Motion to Quash filed by J. Wes
Billingsley, former counsel for Michael Lawrinenko. The following
persons appeared:
J. Wes Billingsley, Attorney at Law
Michael Lawrinenko
John Stinert, Friend of Mr. Lawrinenko
The Court, being fully advised in the premises and after
hearing statements of Mr. Lawrinenko and Mr. Billingsley, Orders
as follows:
The Motion to Quash is sustained for the reasons that the
information sought by the Subpoena Duces Tecum filed on or about
February 10, 2022 seeks to obtain information that is not relevantto Mr. Lawrinenko’s claim or defense and is not reasonably
calculated to lead to the discovery of admissible evidence.
Further, the information sought by subpoena is cumulative and/or
duplicative and can be obtained through other discovery means, and
has, in fact, been sought through interrogatories and requests for
admissions.
Done and Ordered this 7*® day of March, 2022.
