BEFORE ME, the undersigned authority, on this date personally appeared MICHAEL
CARLSON, personally known t0 me, Who, being by me first duly sworn 0n his oath, deposed
and stated the following:
1. My name is Michael Carlson. I am over the age 0f eighteen (18) years, have
never been convicted 0f a felony, and am fully competent t0 make this affidavit. Ihave personal
knowledge 0f the facts set forth herein and those facts are true and correct.
2. Earlier this year, I asked Gary Gann t0 search for agreements that USG Properties
Barnett II, LLC had With Aruba Petroleum that would cover the well known as Domell 2H. Mr.
Gann was employed as a landman, and I knew him t0 be the person most familiar with
agreements involving Aruba Petroleum.
3. Mr. Gann reported back t0 me that he was not able t0 find a copy 0f an agreement
with Aruba Petroleum that was older than the Purchase and Sale Agreement dated April 27,
2017.

4. Mr. Gann passed away at the end 0f May, 2019.
5. Following Mr. Gann’s death, I also searched for agreements With Aruba
Petroleum that involved the Donnell 2H well, but I was not able t0 find any additional
agreements other than those already produced in this matter.
