In addition to the definitions described in OAR 733-030-0011, the following definitions will apply unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
(1) "Guide sign" means a sign that shows route designations, destinations, directions, distances, services, points of interest, or other geographical, recreational, or cultural information.
(2) "Interstate Oasis Supplemental Plaque" means a traffic control device intended to communicate Interstate Oasis to road users through a word legend that is placed immediately above or below an existing Guide sign to supplement the message on the sign. The difference between a plaque and a sign it that a plaque cannot be used alone.
