(1) The rules in OAR chapter 411, division 348, in addition to the rules in OAR chapter 411, divisions 318 and 323, prescribe standards, responsibilities, and procedures for a Host Home Program delivering home and community-based services to children with intellectual or developmental disabilities, including:
(a) The provision of services based on assessed need to provide daily living support, preserve safety, and support community-based living for children receiving services in a Host Home setting;(b) Development, management, and support for a Host Home setting; and(c) Transition support and planning for children entering and exiting Host Home placements.(2) These rules incorporate the provisions for home and community-based services and settings and person-centered planning set forth in OAR chapter 411, division 004. These rules and the rules in OAR chapter 411, division 004 ensure children with intellectual or developmental disabilities receive services in settings that are integrated in and support the same degree of access to the greater community as people not receiving home and community-based services.
