(A) An applicant shall satisfy the
examination requirements for an Ohio athletic training license by completing
both of the following requirements:(1) Verification from the
national athletic trainers' association board of certification, inc. (BOC)
or its successor that the applicant passed their certification exam;
and(2) Achievement of a
score of at least ninety percent on the Ohio athletic trainers jurisprudence
examination.(B) The BOC examination may be waived for
any person who was certified as an athletic trainer by the national athletic
trainers association prior to June 28, 1990. However, pursuant to paragraph
(A)(2) of this rule, each applicant must achieve a minimum passing score on the
Ohio jurisprudence examination.
