 446.01283. "Egg" defined 
 
1. "Egg" means the shell egg of avian species, including, without limitation, chicken, duck, goose, guinea, quail, ratites or turkey.
 
2. The term does not include: 
 
(a) A balut;
 
(b) An egg of a reptile species, including, without limitation, alligator; or
 
(c) An egg product.
