 10.24.02.01. Definitions 
 
A. In this chapter, the following terms have the meanings indicated.
 
B. Terms Defined. 
 
(1) "Commission" means the Maryland Health Care Commission.
 
(2) "Hospital" means a facility defined as a hospital in Health-General Article, §19-301(e) and (g), Annotated Code of Maryland, and COMAR 10.07.01 including: 
 
(a) All classifications of institutions set forth in Health-General Article, §19-307, Annotated Code of Maryland, and COMAR 10.07.01, including "general", "special", or other types of hospitals specified by rule or regulations pursuant to Health-General Article, §19-307, Annotated Code of Maryland;
 
(b) "Special rehabilitation" hospital, as set forth in Health-General Article, §19-318, Annotated Code of Maryland, and COMAR 10.07.01; and
 
(c) "Limited service" hospital, as set forth in Health-General Article, §19-307.1, Annotated Code of Maryland, and COMAR 10.07.17.
 
(3) "HSCRC" means the Health Services Cost Review Commission.
