Hon. William E. Hickle is a circuit judge for the 25th Judicial Circuit Court of Missouri. He was elected to the position in 2012.
The 25th Judicial Circuit Court includes Maries, Phelps, Pulaski, and Texas Counties.
Hickle began his judicial career as an associate circuit judge of the 25th Judicial Circuit Court in 2010.
Prior to that election, he had worked in Rolla as a private practice attorney for twenty-seven years. Hickle also presided as a municipal judge for the City of Rolla (1996 to 2010) and the City of Newburg and was an interim judge for the St. James Municipal Court.
He received a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Baylor University in 1979. Hickle went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Missouri School of Law in 1982.
He has served as chair of the Missouri Head Injury Advisory Council to the Governor and is a past president of the Rolla Public Library Board of Trustees. Hickle is also a past president of the Rolla Rotary Club.
He and his wife, Debbie, have five children.
Hickle is registered as a Republican.
