The Hon. Victoria A. Rossetti is a circuit judge for the Lake County Circuit Court in Illinois. She was appointed to the bench by the Illinois Supreme Court on December 2, 2002.
Rossetti has held assignments as the Presiding Judge of the Criminal Division (2012 to 2016), the Criminal Misdemeanor Division (2008), and the Felony Division (2004 to 2008).
Prior to her appointment, Rossetti was an associate judge for the Lake County Circuit Court, a position to which she was named in 1991. During this time, she was the Presiding Judge of the Juvenile Division (1997 to 1999).
Rossetti earned a bachelor’s degree from Saint Louis University in 1974. She then completed a J.D. at Lewis University College of Law in 1979.
After graduating from law school, Rossetti spent time as an assistant state’s attorney for the Office of the State’s Attorney in DuPage County and Lake County.
Her memberships have included the Illinois Judges Association. She has also lectured for Barat College, the Illinois State’s Attorney’s Association, and the Juvenile Officers Association.
