The Hon. Travis N. Wheeler is a judge for the 11th Judicial District Court of North Carolina in Lee County. He was elected to the bench in 2022.
The 11th Judicial District includes Harnett, Johnston, and Lee Counties.
Prior to his election, Wheeler managed his own private practice, the Law Office of Travis N. Wheeler.
He received a bachelor’s degree from Campbell University. Wheeler then completed a J.D. at Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, in 2000.
Wheeler is a native of Johnston County and attended Smithfield-Selma Senior High School. His father, Kinsey Wheeler, Jr., managed Burlington Mills in Smithfield and his mother, Martha, worked at Fieldcrest Manufacturing.
He is registered as a Republican.
