The Hon. Travis D. Patterson is a judge for the Union County General Sessions Court in Tennessee. He was elected to the bench on August 4, 2022.
Over the course of his judicial career, Patterson has also presided by jurisdiction over the Union County Juvenile Court.
Patterson earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2008. He then completed a J.D. at the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, in 2011.
After graduating from law school, Patterson entered into private practice, opening his own law office in Union County. In that capacity, he represented clients throughout East Tennessee, handling criminal defense, family law, estate planning, and real estate law matters.
Born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, Patterson and his wife, Leslie, have four children.
