The Hon. Steven P. Shreder (Ret.) is a recalled magistrate for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. He was appointed to the bench by the judges of the Eastern District of Oklahoma in 2003. Shreder assumed recalled status in 2021.
He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. Shreder then completed a J.D. at the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1983.
He was admitted to practice in Oklahoma (1984), the District of Columbia (1985), Texas (1988), the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Oklahoma (1988), the United States District Court for the Northern and Western Districts of Texas (1988), the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Tenth Circuits, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
