The Hon. Stanley M. Brandmeyer is a judge on the 4th Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois. He was elected to the bench on November 4, 2014.
The 4th Judicial Circuit encompasses Christian, Clay, Clinton, Effingham, Fayette, Jasper, Marion, Montgomery, and Shelby counties.
Prior to his election, Brandmeyer was the principal of the Brandmeyer Law Office, a legal practice he opened in 2005. Before that, he spent time as the state’s attorney for Clinton County (2000 to 2004).
Brandmeyer earned a B.S. from Southern Illinois University in 1981. He then completed a J.D. at Saint Louis University School of Law in 1987. He was licensed to practice in Missouri (1987) and Illinois (1988).
He is registered as a Republican.
