The Hon. Staci O’Neal is a judge for the Madison County Court in Mississippi. She was elected to the bench in 2016.
O’Neal holds assignments on the Madison County Youth Court and the Madison County Juvenile Judge Court.
Prior to her election, O’Neal was an attorney at the O’Neal Law Firm, a practice she established in 2006. Before that, she worked as an attorney at Watson & Jernigan in Jackson (2000 to 2006). O’Neal supplemented her practice with service as the Public Defender for the Madison County Juvenile Court (2006 to 2010) and the Madison County Youth Court (2010 to 2016)
O’Neal earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Louisiana State University in 1990. She then completed a J.D. at Mississippi College School of Law in 2000. As a law student, she was an editor for the Mississippi College Law Review.
Her memberships have included the Board of the Madison County Distinguished Young Woman. She is also the founder of Metamorphosis, a support group for teenagers struggling with drugs and other destructive habits.
O’Neal and her husband, Greg, have resided in Madison County since 1994. They have two adult children and attend Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
