The Hon. Scott W. Souers is a judge on the Alpine County Superior Court in California. He was elected to the bench on June 7, 2022.
Prior to his election, Souers was a sole practitioner in his own private practice in South Lake Tahoe, a legal practice he opened in 2011. During his tenure there, he represented clients in criminal defense, family law, real estate, land use, foreclosure, and landlord-tenant matters.
Souers earned a bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University. He then completed a J.D. at Vermont Law School in 2010. He was licensed to practice in California (2010) and Nevada (2015).
