Hon. Robert J. Conway (Ret.) was a judge for the Wayne County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He was elected to the bench in 1980. Conway retired in December 2006 and spent time as a senior judge.
During his judicial tenure, he was the president judge in Wayne County.
He received a B.S. from the University of Scranton. Conway went on to complete a J.D. at Brooklyn Law School. He was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania in 1966.
Prior to joining the judiciary, Conway had worked as a public defender (1970) and was the District Attorney in Wayne County (1971 to 1975).
His memberships included the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and Trust, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Conference of State Trial Judges.
