Biography

The Hon. R. Ted Israel (Ret.) served as a magistrate for the Blaine County Magistrate Court in Idaho. Israel was appointed to the bench by the 5th Judicial District Magistrates Commission in 2005. He retired on December 31, 2014.

Israel earned a bachelor’s degree from Albertson College of Idaho in 1978. He then completed a J.D. at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, in 1982.

He is licensed to practice in Idaho (1982), the United States District Court for the District of Idaho (1984), and the United States Tax Court (1984).
