Hon. Pierce L. Fowler is a judge for the 3rd Judicial District Court of Colorado. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Jared Polis in 2022, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Leslie J. Gerbracht (Ret.).
The 3rd Judicial District includes Huerfano and Las Animas Counties.
Prior to his appointment, Fowler managed his own solo practice, the Law Office of Pierce Fowler, Inc., in Trinidad since 2018, where his practice emphasized dependence and neglect matters. He also served as counsel on behalf of the Bent County Department of Social Services. Before establishing his practice, Fowler spent two years as an attorney at the Shultz Law Office, LLC (2016 to 2018).
He received a B.A. in political science from Marshall University in 2011. Fowler went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law in 2015.
He hails from Charleston, West Virginia.
