The Hon. Peter C. Bataillon is a judge for the 4th Judicial District Court of Nebraska in Douglas County. He joined the bench in 2000.
Bataillon served as presiding judge of the 4th Judicial District (2008 to 2009). Prior to beginning his judicial career, he worked as a private practice attorney in Omaha since 1977.
Bataillon earned a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Northwest Missouri State University in 1973. He then completed a J.D. at Creighton University School of Law in 1977.
Bataillon is a past president of the Nebraska District Judges Association. His other memberships include the Nebraska State Bar Association and the Robert M. Spire Inns of Court.
Bataillon served as a past chairman of the Metro Right for Life.
