The Hon. Paul P. Gilfillan (Ret.) served as a circuit judge for the 10th Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois. Gilfillan was elected to the bench in 2006. He retired in 2022.
The 10th Judicial Circuit includes Marshall County, Peoria County, Putnam County, Stark County, and Tazewell County.
Prior to his appointment, Gilfillan was a partner at Quinn, Johnston, Henderson & Pretorius.
Gilfillan earned a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University in 1979. He then completed a J.D. at Valparaiso University School of Law in 1982. He was admitted to practice in Illinois (1982) and the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois (1982).
