Biography

The Hon. Patrick H. Donahue is a judge on the Orange County Superior Court in California. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Gray Davis on July 3, 2000, filling a vacancy created by the passing of the Hon. Robert H. Keefe.


Prior to his appointment, Donahue spent fifteen years with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. During his tenure there, he served as a deputy district attorney and a senior assistant district attorney, holding assignments in the Homicide Unit.


Donahue earned a B.A. from Northeastern University. He then completed a J.D. at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. He was licensed to practice in California in 1983.


A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Donahue was a resident of Tustin, California, at the time of his appointment to the bench.
