Hon. Patrick Cordell is a judge for the San Juan County Magistrate Court in New Mexico. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Susana Martinez in 2015, filling the vacancy created by the resignation of the Hon. James G. Mosberger.
Cordell spent twenty-three years as an officer with the City of Farmington Police Department (1987 to 2010). During his tenure, he worked for nine years in criminal investigations, serving part of that time as a detective sergeant. He was also tasked with supervising the District Coordinator Unit.
He was a chairman of the San Juan County Republican Party and the San Juan County Crime Stoppers program.
