The Hon. Pamela S. Baskervill (Ret.) is a former judge for the 11th Judicial Circuit Court of Virginia. She was appointed to the bench in 2001. Baskervill retired on December 31, 2014.
The 11th Judicial Circuit includes the City of Petersburg and Amelia, Dinwiddie, Nottoway, and Powhatan Counties.
Prior to her appointment, she worked for over twenty years in private practice, including as a principal at Shell, Johnson, Andrews, Baskervill & Baskervill, P.C. in Petersburg.
Baskervill earned a bachelor’s degree from Mary Baldwin University. She then completed a J.D. at the University of Richmond School of Law.
Baskervill is a past president of the Petersburg Bar Association and the Prince George Bar Association. She also served as a member of the Boyd-Graves Commission, the Virginia State Bar Special Committee on Bench Bar Relations, the Benchbook Committee, the Judicial Section of the Virginia Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys.
Following her retirement, Baskervill entered mediation and arbitration practice at The McCammon Group.
Her daughter, Ann Cabell Baskervill, served as the Commonwealth’s Attorney in Dinwiddie County.
