The Hon. Michael Pemberton is a judge for the 9th Judicial District Circuit Court of Tennessee. He was elected to the bench in 2014.
The 9th Judicial District includes Loudon, Meigs, Morgan, and Roane Counties.
Prior to his election, Pemberton had worked in private practice for twenty-four years, beginning in 1990. Before that, he was an assistant district attorney general with the 9th Judicial District (1984 to 1990).
Pemberton received a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Tech University. He then completed a J.D. at Mercer University School of Law.
