The Hon. Mary Ann Driscoll (Ret.) was an associate justice of the Boston Municipal Court in Massachusetts. She was appointed to the bench by former Governor Michael Dukakis in 1990. Driscoll retired in 2013 having reached the mandatory age of retirement.
During her tenure on the bench, Driscoll held an assignment in the Central Division. After her retirement, she continued to sit on the Municipal Court as a recall justice.
Driscoll received a B.A. from Regis College (1964) and an Ed.M. from the University of Massachusetts (1968). She went on to complete a J.D. at Suffolk University Law School in 1974.
After law school, Driscoll entered into private practice, where she remained until joining the Municipal Court bench in 1990.
She served as a member of the Supreme Judicial Court Advisory Committee on the Representation of the Handicapped.
Her other memberships included the Massachusetts Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Association of Women Lawyers, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, the Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corp. (Board of Directors), the Committee for Public Counsel Services (Board of Directors), and the Massachusetts Bar Foundation (Fellow).
Driscoll was born in Boston, Massachusetts.
