Hon. Lisa R. Fabiano is a circuit judge for the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois in Winnebago County. She was elected to the bench in 2008.
The 17th Judicial Circuit includes Boone and Winnebago Counties.
During her judicial tenure, Fabiano has served as Presiding Judge of the Civil Division.
Prior to her election, she worked in private practice for eleven years at the Fabiano Law Offices in Rockford. Before that, Fabiano was a law clerk to the Hon. Stanley Roszkowski with the United States District Court (1993 to 1998).
She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1985. Fabiano went on to complete a J.D. at Loyola University, Chicago School of Law in 1992.
She is registered as a Democrat.
