The Hon. Lester F. Williamson, Jr. is a judge for the 10th Circuit Court District of Mississippi. Williamson was appointed to the bench by former Governor Haley Barbour in 2006. He retired at the conclusion of his term in 2018.
The 10th Circuit District encompasses Clarke, Kemper, Lauderdale, and Wayne Counties.
Prior to his appointment, Williamson was a judge for the Meridian Municipal Court, a position to which he was named on a pro tempore basis in 1985. He also spent time as a partner at Wright & Williamson.
Williamson earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi. He then completed a J.D. at the University of Mississippi School of Law.
