The Hon. Kimberly A. Kurkjian is a judge for the 7th Judicial District Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court of Virginia in Newport News. She was elected to the bench by the Virginia General Assembly in 2021.
Prior to her election, Kurkjian was an attorney with the Attorney General of Virginia. Before that, she worked as a deputy commonwealth’s attorney in Newport News.
She received a bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona. Kurkjian then completed a J.D. at William & Mary Law School in 2000.
