The Hon. Khadija L. Babb is a judge for Division V of the 20th Judicial District Criminal Court of Tennessee. She was elected to the bench on August 4, 2022.
The 20th Judicial District encompasses Davidson County.
Babb earned a bachelor’s degree in legal studies from the University of Tennessee in 2009. She later completed a J.D. at the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2014.
After graduating from law school, Babb opened her own private practice in Nashville. She spent the next four years handling indigent defense, domestic relations, and personal injury matters, eventually leaving to become an assistant district attorney in the 20th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
Babb was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee.
She is registered as a Democrat.
