Judge Kenneth W. Seamans: Professional Background and Legal Expertise

Biography

Hon. Kenneth W. Seamans (Ret.) is a senior judge for the Susquehanna County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He joined the bench in 1987. Seamans retired in January 2015 and subsequently assumed senior status.


During his tenure on the Court of Common Pleas, he presided as the president judge in Susquehanna County. Seamans began his judicial career as a judge for the Susquehanna County Magisterial District Court in 1980 (1980 to 1988).


He received a B.A. from Pennsylvania State University in 1974. Seamans went on to complete a J.D. at Temple University School of Law in 1977.


He also spent time in the United States Coast Guard (1967 to 1971).


Seamans held a membership with the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
