The Hon. Kenneth A. Blalock is a judge for the 11th Judicial District Court of Virginia. He was elected to the bench by the Virginia General Assembly in 2020, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Robert Beasley, Jr.
The 11th Judicial District includes the City of Petersburg and Amelia, Dinwiddie, Nottoway, and Powhatan Counties.
Prior to beginning his judicial career, Blalock was the chief deputy commonwealth’s attorney for the City of Petersburg since 2000.
He earned a B.S. in political science from Old Dominion University in 1997. Blalock then completed a J.D. at the University of Richmond School of Law in 2000.
