Hon. Kelly Hake is a district judge for the Twenty-Fourth Judicial District in Oklahoma. He was elected to the bench in 2018.
The Twenty-Fourth Judicial District includes the District Courts in Creek, Okfuskee, and Okmulgee Counties.
Prior to his election, Hake spent twenty-five years as the city attorney for Bristow.
He received a B.A. in philosophy from Iowa State University in 1979. After graduating from university, Hake spent time as a driller in the oil and gas industry, a day laborer, a truck driver, and also detasseled corn before completing a J.D. at the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1984.
He was admitted to practice in Oklahoma (1984) and the United States District Court for the Northern and Western Districts of Oklahoma (1985).
He was a past president of the Bristow Bar Association and a member of the Bristow Historical Society.
A former Golden Glove Boxer and a married father of three, Hake enjoys coaching youth teams and riding his motorcycle in his free time.
