The Hon. Karen DeSanto Kellogg is a judge for the Probate and Juvenile Division of the Ashland County Court of Common Pleas in Ohio. She was elected to the bench on November 3, 2020, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Damien Vercillo.
Prior to her election, DeSanto Kellogg was an attorney in private practice, specializing in family law matters in Ashland County. Before that, she served as an assistant prosecuting attorney for the Ashland County Prosecutor's Office, the Richland County Prosecutor's Office, and the Morrow County Prosecutor's Office.
DeSanto Kellogg earned a J.D. from Cleveland–Marshall College of Law in 2000.
Her memberships have included the Appleseed Community Mental Health Board (chair) and the Ashland Parenting Plus Board (secretary).
A lifelong resident of Ashland County, DeSanto Kellogg attended Ashland High School. Her judicial campaign received endorsements from Sheriff E. Wayne Risner and former Sheriff Larry Overholt as well as Loudonville Mayor Steve Stricklen.
She is registered as a Republican.
