Hon. Joshua Jay Williford is a judge for the Arapahoe County Court in Colorado. He was appointed to the bench on September 14, 2016.
During his judicial tenure, Williford has presided over civil, criminal, misdemeanor, and traffic cases.
Prior to his appointment, he was the chief deputy district attorney with the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
Williford received a bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College. He went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law in 2003.
Williford has served as a volunteer at the House of Light, an organization that provides household provisions to single mothers and families transitioning from homelessness or domestic violence.
