Biography

The Hon. Jeremy D. Dolnick is a judge on the Orange County Superior Court in California. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Jerry Brown on December 22, 2017, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Jamoa A. Moberly.


Dolnick earned a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1995. He then completed a J.D. at Pepperdine University, Rick J. Caruso School of Law, in 1998. He was licensed to practice in California (1998).


After graduating from law school, Dolnick began his legal career as a partner at Dolnick & Dolnick. He worked in that capacity until 2004, at which time he joined the Orange County Alternate Defender’s Office. During his tenure there, he held positions as a deputy alternate defender (2004 to 2013) and a senior deputy alternate defender (2013 to 2017).


Dolnick was a resident of Ladera Ranch, California, at the time of his appointment.


He is registered as a Democrat.
