The Hon. Jefferson D. Sellers (Ret.) served as a district judge for the Oklahoma Fourteenth Judicial District. Sellers was appointed to the bench by former Governor David Walters in 1993, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Robert Scott. He retired on May 1, 2020.
Prior to his appointment, Sellers worked as an attorney in private practice, working alongside his father in Sapulpa.
Sellers earned a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in 1977. He then completed a J.D. at the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1980.
A resident of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Sellers belongs to the Church of Latter Day Saints. He and his wife, Charlotte, have three children. His sister, the Hon. April Sellers White, has served as an associate judge for the Creek County District Court.
