The Hon. Jamie B. Bice is a judge for the Lake Charles City Court in Louisiana. He joined the bench in 2015.
The City Court in Lake Charles has jurisdiction over all of Ward 3 in Calcasieu Parish. In addition to his judicial role, Bice has maintained a private practice as a partner at Vernon, Bice, Palermo & Wilson, LLC since 2015.
He received a bachelor’s degree in history from Louisiana State University. Bice then completed a J.D. at Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center, in 1993.
He began his legal career as a partner at McLaughlin & Bice in 1994 and remained with the firm for seven years. Bice also taught as an adjunct professor at McNeese State University College of Business.
He is a past president of the Optimist Club of South Lake Charles and sat on the Board of the Charles McClendon Foundation. Bice was also a board member of the American Cancer Society, Crime Stoppers, and the Tiger Athletic Foundation.
