Appointed By: Judges of the 19th Judicial Circuit
The Hon. Helen S. Rozenberg is an associate judge for the Lake County Circuit Court in Illinois. She was appointed to the bench by the judges of the 19th Judicial Circuit on February 1, 1992.
Rozenberg earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 1975. She then completed a J.D. at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 1979.
After graduating from law school, Rozenberg began her legal career as assistant corporation counsel for the City of Peoria. She served in that capacity until 1980, at which time she joined the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office. During her tenure there, she rose through the ranks, eventually becoming Chief Deputy of the Civil Division.
