Biography

Hon. Ginina A. Jackson-Stevenson is a family magistrate for the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court in the Fifth Judicial Circuit of Maryland.

Over the course of her legal career, Jackson-Stevenson has also managed her own private solo practice, the Law Office of Ginina A. Stevenson, and worked as a public defender in both Baltimore City and Anne Arundel County. Her areas of practice have ranged from real estate to civil litigation.

She was admitted to practice in Maryland (2003) and the District of Columbia (2010).

Jackson-Stevenson has volunteered her time with the Archbishop Spalding High School mock trial team and served as a moot court coach at the University of Baltimore.

She has also served on the Pro Bono Resource Center and YWCA Board of Directors.

In addition, Jackson-Stevenson and her husband, Dr. Claymon Stevenson, II, have coached recreational baseball and basketball teams in Brooklyn Park.

Jackson-Stevenson received the George H. Phelps, Jr. Distinguished Public Service Award from the Anne Arundel County NAACP in 2022.
