The Hon. George M. Cappello is a judge for the Cranston Probate Court in Providence County, Rhode Island.
In addition to his judicial service, Cappello is the owner of the Law Offices of George M. Capello, where he specializes in real estate law, business and corporate law, and probate law. He also spent time as Assistant Legal Counsel to Rhode Island Governor Philip W. Noel as well as Chief Counsel to the Rhode Island Department of Corrections.
Cappello earned a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from the University of Rhode Island in 1968. He then completed a J.D. at Suffolk University Law School in 1972.
His memberships have included the Title Standards Committee of the Rhode Island Bar Association.
