Hon. Geno D. Salomone (Ret.) was a judge for the Twenty-Third District Court of Michigan in Wayne County. He resigned on November 1, 2021.
During his judicial tenure, Salomone is credited with implementing a program that brings the court to local high schools, which was sponsored by the Goodwill Garden at Heritage Park. He also started a drug treatment court program.
Salomone received a bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University in 1980. He went on to complete a J.D. at Detroit College of Law in 1984.
Salomone was a past president of the Taylor Conservatory Foundation and sat on the Friends of Rouge River Board of Directors.
