The Hon. G. Galen Braddy is a judge for the 3A Judicial District Court of North Carolina. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Jim Hunt on January 28, 2000, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. E. Burt Aycock.
The 3A Judicial District encompasses Pitt County.
Prior to his appointment, Braddy worked as an attorney in private practice.
Braddy earned a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then completed a J.D. at North Carolina Central University School of Law in 1992.
His memberships have included the North Carolina Association of District Court Judges. He has also been involved with the Board of Criminal Justice Information Network.
