The Hon. G. Alexander Rossario is a judge for the Doña Ana County Magistrate Court in New Mexico. He was elected to the bench on November 8, 2022.
Prior to his election, Rossario was an assistant trial attorney for the 3rd Judicial District Attorney’s Office, a position to which he was named in 2015. Before that, he handled immigration matters as a staff attorney for the Catholic Charities Legal Services (Diocese of Las Cruces) as well as Maney & Gordon in El Paso (2014) and Albuquerque (2013 to 2014).
Rossario earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida in 1997. He spent the next several years working as a researcher for Van Ness Films as well as a sound supervisor and field producer for television, commercial, and film productions in Los Angeles. Then, in 2012, he completed a J.D. at St. Thomas University College of Law.
As a law student, Rossario interned for the Hon. Michael A. Usan of the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. He also clerked at Di Law Group in Hollywood, Florida.
He is registered as a Democrat.
