The Hon. Frederick M. Glover is a judge for the Vermont Superior Court. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Phil Scott on October 6, 2017, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Joanne M. Ertel.
Over the course of his judicial career, Glover has held assignments in the Probate Division of Windsor County.
Glover earned a bachelor’s degree from Castleton State College. He worked for the Executive Office for United States Attorneys at the United States Department of Justice and the District of Columbia Pretrial Services Agency before completing a J.D. at Antioch School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Vermont (1985) and Massachusetts (1985).
After graduating from law school, Glover entered into private practice. He maintained a general practice, handling criminal defense and civil litigation cases, supplementing his practice with probate, family, and administrative law matters.
He was a resident of Ludlow, Vermont, at the time of his appointment.
