The Hon. Elizabeth P. Wolfe is a judge for the Louisiana 1st Circuit Court of Appeal. She was elected to the seat in 2020.
Wolfe began her judicial career as a judge for the 21st Judicial District Court, which includes the Livingston, St. Helena, and Tangipahoa Parishes. She was elected to Division F in 2005.
Wolfe received a bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1983. She then completed a J.D. at Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center, in 1986.
Wolfe began her legal career in solo practice, where she remained until her election to the state trial court. In addition to managing her own law firm, she also served as an assistant district attorney for the 21st Judicial District (1990 to 2005).
Her memberships include the 21st Judicial District Court Bar Association and the Louisiana District Judges Association.
She is registered as a Republican.
