Hon. Elizabeth Ciaccia-Lezza is a judge for the Cook County Circuit Court in Illinois. She was elected to the Circuit Court in 2018.
While on the bench, Ciaccia-Lezza has held an assignment in the Fourth Municipal District of the Municipal Department.
Prior to joining the bench, she had worked as an assistant state’s attorney with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office since her admittance to the Illinois Bar in 2001. During her tenure there, Ciaccia-Lezza held assignments in the Child Support Enforcement Division (2001 to 2002), the Juvenile Justice Bureau-Child Protection Division (2002 to 2003), the Juvenile Justice Bureau-Delinquency Division (2003 to 2006), the Felony Review Unit (2006 to 2008), the Preliminary Hearings Unit (2008 to 2009), the Felony Trial Courtroom (2009), the Felony Domestic Violence Unit (2009 to 2012), and the Sex Crimes Unit (2012 to 2018).
She was a member of the Justinian Society of Lawyers.
Ciaccia-Lezza is registered as a Democrat.
